This sophisticated performance solution utilizes dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600v3 processors with up to 512GB of memory—capable of delivering up to 624TB of storage in single 4U system. The DCS-9178 is equipped with seventy-eight hot-swappable screw-less 3.5” drives into an ultra-dense 4U chassis, the DCS-9178 exceeds the most demanding cloud storage environments planning today and future.

Built for mega hyper-scale datacenters and backup storage servers with streaming file, massive object or block-level data stores, the DCS-9178 achieves massively scalable backup storage. The DCS platform provides the capacity to store an ever increasing volume of data and retain data storage for longer periods of time for cloud environments, archive and data analytics.
